Climate Jobs New York (CJNY) is a growing coalition of labor unions representing 2.6 million working people at the center of New York’s economy. CJNY’s mission is to advocate for a clean energy economy at the scale climate science demands, create good union jobs, and support more equitable communities and a more resilient New York.
CJNY campaigns
As New York State moves toward its renewable energy goals, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to ensure that the path to low-carbon future results in good jobs that provide family-sustaining wages and benefits for communities across the state. CJNY empowers New Yorkers, especially workers, in the civic engagement process to advance a low-carbon, equitable economy. Right now, CJNY is organizing to win key investments in carbon-free and healthy public schools in NYC.
