Tyson lives in Wisconsin and is a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 139. He works as a heavy equipment operator and has worked on utility-scale solar projects across Wisconsin.

Lisa Hofmann lives in Long Island, New York and is a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 25. She has worked as an union electrician for 26 years. She is also the worksite steward, treasurer, and former president of the Woman's Committee in her Local, and former vice president of the Electrical Minority Caucus. 

Fredy R. Jr. lives in Colorado and is a second-generation union insulator. Fredy is a member of and field representative for the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers (AWIU) Local 28. Before his current role, he was an insulator for 12 years. 

Jeff lives in Massachusetts and has been a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) as an electrician for 25 years: 14 years with IBEW Local 490 and 11 years with IBEW Local 223. Jeff is now a business agent for IBEW Local 223, which represents workers across Southeastern Massachusetts.

Allegra W. lives in Texas and is a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 716. She is currently working on Cottonwood Bayou Solar, a 350-megawatt solar project. Allegra was featured in our report about the Inflation Reduction Act and its potential to transform the clean energy sector, create high-quality union jobs, and advance equity. 

Jeff W. lives in Illinois and has been a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 146 for 27 years. He’s an inside journeyman wireman and a mentor to apprentices. Jeff currently works on a solar farm with 300 other people.

Oronde lives in Massachusetts and has been a member of Ironworkers Local 37 for nine years. He’s a technician and currently working on Vineyard Wind 1 and previously worked on Block Island Wind Farm.
